We are the San Gabriel Valley/Whittier chapter of the National Organization for Women. (That’s why it’s SGVW NOW for women’s rights!)
The National Organization for Women has been actively championing women’s rights since 1966. The six core issues that NOW addresses are reproductive rights and justice, ending violence against women, economic justice, LGBTQIA rights, racial justice, and constitutional equality.
These issues are important to us as a chapter and we work within our community and nationally to help make social, economic, political, and legal changes.
Feel free to look around our site to see what we stand for, what issues we fighting for, and what we’re generally up to. Send us an email from our Contact Us page if you have any questions about the chapter.
Thanks for stopping by our site!
